What a perfect add on when you are visiting Beverley in East Yorkshire. Cherry View Milk has its own MILK VENDING MACHINE!

Rob was told about this from someone at his work and so we thought we would check it out whilst out Geoaching nearby. We had to share with you our adventures, at first we captured on our Instagram profiles but then we decided to grab some footage to make a clip. Keep on reading to watch.

We visited a couple of weeks ago and were lucky to have some nice weather.

Cherry View Milk is open daily 7am-7pm, you just pull up and park on the drive. At first we weren’t sure what to expect or where we could go and where we couldn’t go. Other families were visiting at the same time and that encouraged us to visit the cows and explore.

You purchase a milk bottle from one vending machine if you don’t have one already £1.50. You can keep this for future use and the machine has a sterilising feature.

Fresh milk: 1 litre= £1 / 2 litre= £2

The milk was delicious and certainly fresh, I think you can gather that from Rob’s tasting on our clip. We will say no more, except this, if you have a chance to go then it is a must to visit.

We have kept out glass milk bottle so that we can make a trip whenever we pass nearby.

The Gilmour’s

For those of you who don’t know, SWAG is short for Stuff We All Get. In the Geocaching terms it is trinkets you find in caches that can be swapped with your swag.

Things you may find are toys, tokens, trinkets, tools, badges, figures and mini stationary. It gives the children even more excitement when we Geocache and finding child friendly (or bigger caches) makes it important at times.

We carry a lot of SWAG with us just in case we come across a cache with no SWAG 🙁 which is an unhappy sight.

Sophie often makes some SWAG, here’s one of her aqua bead creations that is in our SWAG bag.

If you don’t recognise it, this little snowman is in fact from Frozen as one of Olaf’s miniature friends.

As well as SWAG we also put a token of our own home made family ‘logo’ which is like a token. It’s to be kept in the caches and it acts like a calling card- to say that we were there. In the local area people have started to recognise our ‘logo’ and have seen where we have been.

The tokens/coins are made from aluminium and last 2 years with quality and fading after that. A very good length of time.

Who’s made them? My husband of course! The printing business have benefits and you can buy them.
